Partners by Design utilized client Priority Sport’s athletic heritage to inspire their new office design in River North, Chicago.
The new office for Priority Sports was precisely designed to embody the dynamic energy and collaborative spirit central to the company’s brand. Situated within the historic Reid Murdoch Building, this project integrates the company’s athletic heritage into its architectural elements, creating a space that both reflects and enhances Priority Sports’ culture.
The color scheme prominently features blue, honoring the owner’s favorite color and reinforcing brand identity. Collaborating closely with BIG Construction, the project addressed various elements such as ceiling concerns to maintain an open, collaborative and inviting atmosphere.
Project Planning
This design approach ensures that the office not only meets functional requirements but also creates a vibrant and engaging space where employees are inspired and excited to come to work each day.
Project Details
The design emphasizes openness and connectivity, fostering an environment where communication and interaction flourish. A key feature, the metallic epoxy flooring, incorporates design motifs reminiscent of a basketball court, providing both visual interest and a subtle nod to the company’s roots. Additionally, a customizable peg wall allows for the display of sports memorabilia, serving as a dynamic, interactive element that engages visitors and employees alike. The front lobby is also highlighted by a striking “ticker board,” ensuring that the excitement of the latest games is always within view.
